The process of transforming a rough diamond into a fully polished gemstone is something most customers are not aware of. Planning

Bruting

Polishing

Once the polishing processes are completed, each and every diamond is thoroughly evaluated by the diamond experts. If they identify any sort of extra flaws on the surface of the stone, then they will send the diamond back for further polishing. However, in some cases, diamond manufacturers often subject the diamond to enhancement processes in order to fill in the cracks and holes within the stone.

It is significant to note that some diamonds might develop permanent damages when they are subjected to such processes. Therefore, when it comes to some diamonds, manufacturers prefer not to implement any color or clarity enhancing processes. Still, diamond manufacturers will put in extra efforts to ensure that all the flaws and other issues in the diamond are fixed.
